Love, marriage, tradition and happiness. As time goes on, these four timeless elements of our world seem to be drifting ever further apart from each other. It is almost as if we are at a point where we are not really sure what to believe in or how to believe in it. Well, stay with us because on this program, we are going to look at the tradition – the godly institution of marriage as a proven vehicle that carries with it love and happiness…love and happiness! Isn’t that what we all want?

It kind of funny how there is such a movement against the Bible and biblical principles these days, yet things like “Armageddon” and “Judgment Day,” which have their basis in Scripture, are common themes in our society. Of course, society dramatizes these things way beyond the reality of Scripture, so what we perceive is generally not what will happen. So, Judgment Day – it is coming! What does that mean? When will it happen? Who will be judged? Stay with us!

Atheism – for many of us who profess Christianity, even hearing the word conjures up a need to defend oneself and one’s faith. Sometimes we envision an Atheist as one whose objective in life is to ridicule not only us but the mechanism of our faith. And not just the mechanism of our faith, but the very object of our faith – God Almighty. So what do we have? We have envisioned Atheism as an enemy – as an object of our disdain…but wait a minute – Jesus clearly taught us to love our enemies, so what does that mean? Did Jesus himself love those who profess Atheism – did Jesus die for Atheists? If so, then how should we show them the love of Christ?

“Selfies” – a modern day phenomena of simplicity and ease. The concept is simple – take pictures of yourself so the world can see you as you choose for it to see you. What could be wrong with that? After all, it is your life and you should have control over it, right? As with any luxury of life, there is usually a basic thread of goodness somewhere within it, but as with any luxury in life that thread of goodness can and usually is overrun by excess and pride.
